Project Connect rallies our region to support and create lasting solutions for those experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness here in Central Oregon.
Each year since 2007, Project Connect has touched the lives of about 2,300 members of our community, who receive everything from medical care, housing assistance, and children’s services to clothing and haircuts — all in one day.
The key to the event’s success is the more than 700 volunteers a year who donate their time, money, and supplies. Project Connect also relies on the incredibly generous support of government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, schools and members of the private sector from across Central Oregon.
The event takes place at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond. Guests include low-income and homeless people from Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties, and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
Project Connect is a component of the Central Oregon Regional 10-Year Strategy to End Homelessness.
