Watch "Faces of Homelessness in Central Oregon"

Mission

The mission of Project Connect is to rally our region to support and create lasting solutions for those experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness here in Central Oregon. Project Connect is a component of the Central Oregon Regional 10 Year Strategy to End Homelessness.

Project Connect is based on a national model: Project Homeless Connect, which originated in San Francisco in October 2004. Today, Project Connect is emulated in over 400 cities across the United States as well as Canada, Puerto Rico and Australia.

Once a year community volunteers partner with government agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, schools, and the private sector to provide health, social, and humanitarian services for struggling members of our community.

Project Connect has provided services to over 11,200 Central Oregonians, with the help of over 3,000 volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered at the event this year!  With your help, we served 3,421 Central Oregonians who were in need of vital services!

About Our Event

On Saturday, September 24, 2011, 3,421 guests received important services from 809 caring volunteers at Project Connect. Services were provided by 163 community partners and organizations.

Our thanks go out to everyone who helped make this year's event a success. Without our friends in the community, none of this would be possible!

We look forward to working with you in 2012!
